Established in 2004, NDRI aims to provide substantive analytical inputs for policy making on contemporary issues through rigorous research and dissemination of findings. NDRI team comprises of an interdisciplinary team of senior research specialists, mid to early career researchers, associated experts, management and field staff. With multitude of activities across multiple sectors (such as water and climate, livelihood and food security, health, education and environment, economic development, GESI, disaster management) during almost two decades of existence, NDRI has now evolved as one of the leading think tanks in Nepal. NDRI focuses on creating opportunities for research, dialogue and collaboration. I take this opportunity to invite NDRI Alumni, Well-wishers, Development Partners, Think tanks, Research institutes, Academia and Government of Nepal for a fruitful collaboration in various research endeavors for the betterment of science and society at large.
